Technology and Service Providers
OpenMock uses a combination of proprietary systems, internal processes, and trusted third-party technology providers to develop, operate, secure, and improve its services. Where appropriate, these may include cloud infrastructure, automation tools, and artificial intelligence services used for activities such as preparing educational content, processing uploaded files, supporting evaluations, generating feedback, and maintaining service quality.
Uploaded answer sheets and related information may therefore be processed by such providers where reasonably required to provide, maintain, secure, or improve the relevant OpenMock service. Users should avoid including unnecessary personal, financial, or sensitive information in uploaded documents.
Data Sharing
We do not sell or trade your personal information. We may share or permit the processing of information by trusted service providers where reasonably necessary to operate and provide our services, including:
- Firebase and other Google services: For database management, authentication, hosting, functions, and, where enabled, website analytics.
- Email Service Providers: To send account and evaluation notifications.
- Razorpay: To process payments securely.

- Microsoft Clarity: To understand website usage, improve page design, and diagnose usability or technical issues through analytics such as heatmaps and session recordings.
Microsoft Clarity
Microsoft Clarity may collect information such as page visits, clicks, scrolling activity, browser and device information, approximate location, and cookie or similar identifiers. Where analytics consent has been granted, OpenMock may also provide Clarity with a pseudonymous account identifier to help us understand activity across sessions. We do not intentionally provide Clarity with raw account email addresses, display names, Student Registration Numbers, uploaded answer sheets, or evaluation content.
Clarity data may be processed or stored outside India, including in the United States, under Microsoft's applicable privacy and security practices. OpenMock uses Clarity for website analytics and usability improvement, not for selling personal information.
Cookies, Local Storage, and Consent
We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember preferences, save progress, prevent abuse, and measure how visitors use our pages. Microsoft Clarity analytics is optional. Where consent is required, we will request your consent before enabling Clarity analytics cookies or cross-session analytics identifiers.
You may accept, reject, or later withdraw your analytics consent. Rejecting or withdrawing consent will not prevent you from accessing OpenMock's essential features, including your account, purchased materials, tests, uploads, evaluations, and payment-related services. If consent is not provided, Clarity may operate only in a limited cookieless mode, and some analytics functions available to OpenMock may be reduced.
Data Security
We use administrative and technical security measures to help protect your personal information. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable.
